Anthurium 'Delta Force'

A single seedling from Steve Nock's 1990s cross of Anthurium clarinervium and Anthurium pedatoradiatum at Ree Gardens, Miami, produced the sharply triangular, deltoid leaf that gives 'Delta Force' its name — a geometry no other common Anthurium shares. From clarinervium it takes bold white venation set against a deep, coriaceous dark-green blade; from pedatoradiatum, the acuminate triangular outline. The result is a compact, self-heading terrestrial velvet hybrid.
