Philodendron 'Florida Green'

Philodendron 'Florida Green' is the plain, non-variegated form of the Florida hybrid group (a cross between P. pedatum and P. squamiferum), best known through its variegated sport 'Florida Beauty' and the paler 'Florida Ghost'. It shares the group's distinctive deeply lobed, pedate leaves and red, bristly petioles, climbing readily once given a support to grip. As the un-variegated baseline of the group it grows noticeably faster and more vigorously than its variegated relatives, making it a good choice for anyone who wants the group's leaf shape without the slower growth and reversion risk that comes with variegation.
