Anthurium vittariifolium

Long, narrow, strap-like leaves hang vertically from the base of Anthurium vittariifolium, sometimes reaching over a metre in leathery, dark green cascade. Native to wet forest in Ecuador and Peru, it's closely related to Anthurium pallidiflorum but distinguished by a slightly thicker leaf texture and its own distinct seed berries. It's one of the more popular pendant epiphytes for exactly the reason its name suggests — elegant, cascading foliage that makes a genuinely striking hanging specimen rather than a novelty.
