Alocasia sinuata is a compact, self-heading jewel Alocasia native to the Philippines, particularly the islands of Leyte, Mindanao, and Palawan. It grows in the understory of humid tropical forests under warm, shaded conditions. Its leaves are thick, coriaceous, and deeply quilted (bullate), with a glossy, metallic dark green sheen. It forms a neat rosette from a basal corm and has wavy, sinuate margins.
