Philodendron 'Majestic'

Satiny silver mottling over a velvety, high-contrast venated blade is the combination Philodendron 'Majestic' is grown for — a hybrid believed to cross Philodendron sodiroi's silver patterning with Philodendron verrucosum's velvet texture, a pairing not seen in either parent alone. New leaves emerge with the silver at its most vivid, deepening slightly as the blade matures. A medium-to-large climber with moderate internodes bearing aerial roots at each node, it needs a proper climbing support to reach its full broad, cordate leaf size.
