Philodendron x joepii 'Aurea Variegata'

A narrow constricted midsection between elongated lateral and terminal lobes gives the tri-lobed joepii hybrid its odd, waisted silhouette; 'Aurea Variegata' adds marbled and sectoral splashes of yellow and chartreuse against the deep green base on top of that already unusual shape. First associated with French Guiana hybrid lineage, it climbs using aerial roots and benefits from a moss pole or vertical support to develop that mature leaf form properly.
