Yellow Marilyn inverts the usual balance of an aurea-type deliciosa: rather than green blade marbled with gold, the leaf is predominantly warm golden-yellow, with only streaks and patches of deep green remaining. The name circulates mostly among Southeast Asian collectors. Because yellow-dominant sectors carry markedly less chlorophyll than green ones, plants need very bright light and grow noticeably slower than green deliciosa.
Cultivated chimeric variegated selection of Monstera deliciosa, circulating mainly through Southeast Asian collector channels.
