About Anthurium 'Qori'
Anthurium 'Qori' crosses the elongated, pendent strap-leaf habit of Anthurium pallidiflorum with the dense velvet texture and silvery-white venation of Anthurium warocqueanum 'Esmeralda'. The result is a long, narrow, velvety leaf that reads as a genuinely intermediate form between its two parents: more substance and colour than pallidiflorum alone, more manageable length than a mature warocqueanum. It is one of only a handful of named crosses built directly onto warocqueanum lineage with confirmed parentage.
Native range
Horticultural hybrid bred by Ecuagenera, combining Anthurium pallidiflorum with Anthurium warocqueanum 'Esmeralda'. Named using 'qori', the Quechua word for gold.

Before you buy
- Confirm the warocqueanum parent is specifically the 'Esmeralda' form where the seller states it; this is one of the few named crosses on this site with genuinely confirmed parentage, so a seller vague on the details is a minor red flag
- Check the leaf shows silvery-white venation against a dense velvet blade; weak or absent venation suggests a different, less warocqueanum-influenced hybrid
- Given the Large mature size (leaves 40-70 cm) and semi-pendent habit, confirm you have room for the eventual leaf length before buying at this price tier
- Be cautious of multiple simultaneous listings under this exact name
