Monstera standleyana 'Albo Variegated'

Monstera standleyana 'Albo Variegated' is a variegated cultivar derived from the species native to the tropical lowland rainforests of southern Mexico and Central America. Unlike many other members of the genus, this plant keeps its narrow, entire, elliptic-lanceolate leaf shape throughout maturity, never developing the fenestrations typical of its relatives. It shows white sectoral and splash variegation against deep, glossy green foliage. In nature, the species functions as an epiphyte or hemiepiphyte, using aerial roots to anchor itself to trees in shaded, humid understory conditions.
