Monstera mittermeieri

Monstera mittermeieri is a climber found in the humid montane and lower montane forests of Costa Rica. It ascends tree trunks, preferring filtered light, high humidity, and constant air movement. This epiphytic or hemiepiphyte species often takes root in moss and organic debris on trees, with elliptic leaves marked by distinct perforations that persist to the margins.
