About Alocasia gageana
Alocasia gageana is a compact Southeast Asian species with narrow, glossy dark green leaves and a tidy clumping growth habit, making it a manageable choice for collectors without space for the genus's larger species. It has given rise to colour-form selections including a yellow-gold Aurea variant, but the plain green wild-type species remains an underrated, easy-to-place option in its own right.
